In this unique 3-part series with special guest Suzanne Sterling, we refine our ability to listen and learn skills from the more than human realm. These practices will provide strong emotional, mental and physical strength, and deep spiritual nourishment. With these tools we can refute despair and cultivate the ancient wisdom and true power that supports courageous healing.
These practices come from a long lineage of wisdom-keepers who have kept esoteric teachings alive so we can survive, and thrive, in times of hardship.

The Earth Mysteries

Healing. Like the tree that bends in the wind, we must remain rooted to the earth yet flexible in these changing times. The timeless wisdom of our unbroken sacro-magical tradition is here to support us.

Oracle. The inner mysteries guide us on how to chart our bodies as a mirror to the earth -  tonifying our organs and glands with specific plants, songs, and alchemical workings.  Through voice work, song and breath, we attune our subtle body with the invisible forces of nature, open our central channels to train our body to become more capable of embodying life force, Qi.  The result of which has us feeling physically stronger, and more connected to life energies. We commune with and mediate the magical powers innate in all of Creation.  We come to understand that WE are instruments and diviners of mystery, giving voice to our Inspirations.
Fae. We connect with the earth beings, the non-human elementals and live in alliance with them. The deep, ancient magic of the Fae invites us into rituals that honor the web of life. When filled with the life force and connected to the Mysterious ones, what might we vision for this precious world?  What holy longing would call our expression up and out as an act of devotion and joy?

This is a non-residential intensive. There are plenty of campsites and rental accommodations on Salt Spring that you can easily find on the internet. We recommend you reserve your accommodations and review the ferry schedule to ensure you can attend the weekend. Salt Spring is about 4-hours from Vancouver, BC. Because ferry waits are long, we recommend arriving the day before.

Seraphina Capranos (she/her) is a clinical herbalist, homeopath, and initiated priestess with a practice spanning over two decades.

At the age of 14, Seraphina began learning alchemical practices from shamanic practitioners she met through fated circumstance. From the age of 16 until age 18 she apprenticed with a medical intuitive, Elizabeth Hammond. Then, embarked on the priestess path in 1998 into which she was initiated in 2016 through the Reclaiming Tradition. Like many cast onto the path of healing and spiritual training, it was pain and suffering that led her into the forest to seek answers to life’s big questions. First, it was an injury that left her bedridden with debilitating pain as a teenager, and just a few years later, the intractable disease then the sudden tragic death of her beloved father which set her on a spiritual quest all before 21 years old.  She spent ten years in a Toltec apprenticeship, which radically shifted her perceptional world and help shape her world-view as one deeply connected to the earth. She has taught thousands of students and has held countless circles, classes, rituals and ceremonies for groups as large as 300. With a practice spanning two decades, she is now a sought-after international teacher and speaker. Her greatest teachers, as always, are the students and patients with whom she is grateful to work with. She is continually in awe of the strength of the human spirit. Regarded as a 'teachers teacher' her unique blend of gifts straddle the vast worlds of plant medicine, homeopathy, and ritual and ceremonial magic. She is known for her heart-centered, generous teaching style that speaks to multiple ways of learning.

She would like to honour and thank the many teachers that have influenced the teacher and practitioner she is today: Elizabeth Hammond, Blade, Starhawk, Rose May Dance, Liz Forrest, Susun Weed, Willow Kelly, Urania Griffith, Robert Birch, Gwydion Logan, Suzanne Sterling, Rosemary Gladstar, Dr. Aviva Romm, MD, Amanda McQuade Crawford, RJ Stewart.
