Learn Plant Spirit Herbalism
Learn the shamanic wisdom and the modern healing science of herbalism.
Strengthen your energy body, your intuitive power, and your physical health.
The inner nature of plants is an expression of the soul of the world. Once we slow down and train our nervous systems to connect with them, we open to their profound, life-changing teachings.
Learn the Hidden Language of Herbs
Drawing upon the wisdom of plant spirit medicine, priestess skills from western mysticism, and shamanistic teachings from Toltec Wisdom, you will become fluent in the language of plants.
This isn't something achieved simply through book learning or lecture. It's a skill cultivated through direct experience with the plants. When we slow down to learn their language, they reveal hidden messages for our personal health and that of humanity. They also teach us the importance of reciprocity. Plant communication is something all human beings have encoded within. The plant world is urgently asking us to remember this relationship so we can guide humanity to a place of peace and healing.
This program is a balance between learning practical, modern herbalism drawn from Seraphina's 20+ years of clinical practice & the wisdom drawn from shamanistic and alchemical traditions she has been steeped in for 30 years. She brings you expertise, wisdom and a profound connection to plants so you can learn a tradition that is deeply rooted in tools you can apply to your own life for your physical, emotional and spiritual healing.
"This was one of the most impactful programs I've ever taken.
This work reawakened my intuition; during the course I was able to get
clear signals and answers from my body and inner knowing
about certain foods and ingredients I'm no longer able to tolerate.
Learning about and using the toltec practices has transformed my relationships. "
- Diana L. California
The Seven Sacred Herbs
Our primary teachers throughout the program:
"This program exceeded my expectations. Seraphina’s deep wisdom and soothing voice made her the perfect guide to expand my relationship to plants and grow within myself. These practices have lifted past energetic layers to feel excited about life and have greater energy overall. As an herbalist for many years I already knew the plants which were introduced during the course but I wanted to see them in a new light to learn even more about them, which was the case. I think the Spirit of plants is often overlooked in modern herbalism yet it is one of the most powerful offerings for our emotional wellbeing."
-Sherri Mariash, Herbalist @wildearthmedicinals
Reciprocity & Connection
Each class we will engage with a new Plant Teacher and let the spirit of the Plant be our guide to strengthen our organs, improve our emotional health and learn a set of Toltec practices that create resiliency. Plants are a portal: they connect us with the divine cosmic intelligence and the sacred order of All Things. Through this connection, we receive powerful wisdom and can hear the needs of our own soul's calling and also that of the planet. The voice of our inner wisdom is how nature speaks to us and through us.
Led by the Earth's Wisdom, this work supports each of us to wake up and feel alive so we can be a better ancestor and in turn serve our communities and humanity.
ABOUT YOUR GUIDE, SERAPHINA
At the age of 14, Seraphina began learning alchemical practices from shamanic practitioners and profoundly gifted healers. From the age of 16 until age 18 she apprenticed with a medical intuitive in Toronto. In 1998, she embarked on a deep and powerful priestess path into which she was initiated in 2016. Like many cast onto the crooked road of healing and spiritual training, it was pain and suffering that led her into the forest to seek answers to life’s big questions.
First, it was an injury that left her bedridden with debilitating pain as a teenager. Then, just a few years later, the sudden illness followed by the tragic death of her beloved father, which set her on a spiritual quest all before 21 years old. She spent ten years in a Toltec apprenticeship, which radically shifted her perceptional world and helped shape her worldview as one deeply connected to the Earth. She has taught thousands of students and has held countless circles, classes, rituals, and ceremonies for small and large groups mostly in person, and in recent years online. With a practice spanning two decades, she is now a sought-after international teacher and speaker. Her greatest teachers, as always, are the students and patients with whom she is grateful to work with. She is continually in awe of the strength of the human spirit. Regarded as a 'teacher's teacher' her unique blend of gifts straddle the vast worlds of plant medicine, homeopathy, and ritual and ceremonial magic. She is known for her heart-centered, generous teaching style that speaks to multiple ways of learning.
Considered one of Canada's leading herbalists, Seraphina is regularly sought after to teach at conferences and international symposiums. She has mentored many of today's up-and-coming herbal teachers and product developers and has influenced many popular brands and formula makers. She has developed, written and taught curricula for some of the largest herbal schools in North America. In 2021 she was lauded as "a young Elder" by Rosemary Gladstar, North America's Godmother of Herbalism.
