[audio] Grounding Meditation

Feeling into the consciousness of the world, namely that of North America, one senses the destabilizing anxiety that is at an all-time high. We are amidst a revolution. There is crisis, there is coming together, there is hopelessness—and there is hope too, in the cauldron of change.

 

It's hard to feel steady when so much is at stake. We must not go to sleep and succumb to apathy or denial. So too, we must not burn out our precious inner resources, as the world needs us now more than ever. 

 

Today, I share with you a very simple and yet effective tool I use every single day (sometimes more than once). It's an audio recording of a grounding meditation. I start my day with it, and then if I need to, I do it again between patients at the clinic. It's especially helpful if I see someone who's very ill, or someone who shared a story that really caught my heart-strings. It's a great way to fill up your inner cup if you've lost your centre. Use it as a guide, take or leave what feels right, and perhaps use it as an inspiration to customize your own method of grounding. If you like it, I may send out audio recordings every now and again!       Yes, it’s so helpful to re-centre and re-align. It helps me tone down the noise of what’s not essential, and come ‘home’ to myself.
