Join Suzanne on this in-depth mind/body immersion into the heart of soulful self expression. Learn how to combine joyful movement with sound, singing, breath and ritual…. leading you to access your own true voice and embodied creativity, as well as deep states of inner peace.
Singing has been an integral part of many cultures for centuries but in modern, urban cultures we have lost touch with the permission to use our voices and subsequently with the incredible healing benefits of sound and singing. Each of us has a uniquely authentic voice and when we create the correct physiological and psychological foundations, that natural voice is freed up to move through us, bringing us into a very real experience of bliss.
In this workshop we will learn about the history of sound healing in spiritual traditions as well as using the power of sound as a tool to enhance our contemporary lives. Through gentle flow yoga, conscious movement, chanting and singing, we will break free from the stifling grip of the inner critic and focus on freeing the natural voice; allowing our creativity to expand and tapping into our connection with the Divine.
We will explore the healing power and even medicinal uses of sound and specific instruction on how to use your voice as an aid to transformation and awakening. We will cover both the strengths and weakness of the 5th chakra, the art of purification through sound and asana, and yogic techniques to connect you to your inner truth.
Join the community of spirit on this ecstatic journey of singing for the soul…a juicy fusion of chanting and meditation, ritual and prayer.
